The Party bus concept was conceived in 1999 by Tertius Verwey and Willem Faure. The first bus saw light in March 2000 and was soon followed by another 4 buses with the same basic design.

The buses recently changed ownership to Philip Heyns and Darren van Heerden. The decision was made to change the all over look of the bus and some exiting new additions were made to the interior and exterior of the bus. The decision was also made to keep the experience of Willem Faure as “operator”.

- The Buses were branded by SAB Miller during 2000 to 2004.
- Edward Snell & Co branded 4 of the buses Wellington Brandy between 2004 and 2010.
- Swartland Wynkelders from Malmesbury branded one between 2004 and 2008.
- At the moment 2 buses are still branded Wellington Brandy 1 Castle Lager and 2 are being refurbished and has no branding.
